THE CANNOP

This pen is named after Cannop, in the Forest of Dean, now a beauty spot with lovely lakes, but once the site of one of the Forest's coal mines.

Each pen is individually hand made by Rodney Neep. No two pens are the same. They are unique!
When you buy a Rodney Neep pen, you select an individual pen from those currently offered for sale.

The Cannop is a twist action ball point pen with a body that thickens in the centre to an 11mm centre band, and tapers down at each end. The centre band has a slightly bulbed profile with two grooves.  The clip will be straight, sometimes plain gold, and sometimes gold with a black centre stripe.

#298 - Cannop Ballpoint Pen - Bog Oak

Oak that has lain in the bottom of a bog for about 5,000 years!
It turns jet black. Bog oak has interesting open grain that I never fill, otherwise it would just look like a black plastic pen.
