EXOTIC STONE MATERIALS

This page shows some of the extra special exotic and semi precious stone materials that I can offer. I can make you a pen or a shaving brush with these on request.

I keep a small stock of some of these expensive imported materials. Others are available to special order for pens and shaving brushes.

Some shaving brushes are already offered for sale in the exotic stones. I tend to use them for the Retro Deluxe Brushes, but they are effective in the Gemini and Aztec. Occasionally I am able to obtain the exotic stones in larger sizes suitable for Chubby, Retro, Gourd, Tulip, Dreadnought, etc. brushes, and I have some of those in stock at the moment.

I addition to the short blocks of stone that I use for the short version of the Retro Deluxe brushes (on the left in the photo above and below), I now have a few pieces in larger sizes, which will enable me to make larger sized brush handles.

	Kenya Steatite stone Approx. 20 pieces in stock Beautiful marbled and banded effects. I import this stone direct from a small mine (actually it is just a hole in the ground) in a village in Kenya. With the price that I pay for each piece a family can buy food for a whole week!
